| Job description | Co-ordinate support incidents and small change requests from business stakeholders. Work with support team to prioritise and schedule support activities
Liaise with Operations, Networks and Database teams to resolve application issues In collaboration with colleagues and external consultants, contribute to the continued development and support of the various ITG lead web applications within the Lloyd’s application portfolio Take a collaborative role with the application support team to triage production problems, determine faults and provide fixes in a timely fashion Take a collaborative development role, designing, coding, unit testing and implementing enhancements to existing applications Undertake project work as required by Lead Developers Provide and take ownership of estimates for your work and monitor progress against the estimate Take responsibility for any errors and omissions within the developed applications to ensure any bugs are fixed in line with priorities Perform appropriate tuning/refactoring of code to ensure that the system is performant and secure Work with other members of the team (including business analysts, testers etc.) in the development environment to ensure fit for purpose solutions are delivered Produce documentation to cover implementation of application solutions, including security, technical specifications, site deployment and support requirements Ensure compliance to ITG/Lloyd’s procedures when making changes and implementing code Accountable to the Application Support Manager |
