Introduction Excess Building Materials are a building materials supplier offering customers discounted materials and specialising in selected products. Using a unique system of purchase and sales we can offer our clients the best rates possible and beat any competitor’s quotes, giving us a unique appeal to prospective customers. Excess Building Materials are looking for a confident, customer focused, smart, self motivated and enthusiastic sales person to generate increased sales, building on our existing customer database. You will have been employed in a sales position in the builders’ merchant or construction supplies sector in the last 5 years and have a detailed knowledge of construction materials. Strong communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will also need to be commercially aware and able to demonstrate business acumen. Job Description: Job Reports to: Excess Building Materials Directors Location: Office based near Sevenoaks, site visits & remote working covering all of South East and London. Salary: Generous negotiable commission on all sales plus potential of full/part time position after 3 months. Essential Requirements Direct Sales experience with Builders’ Merchants or Construction Suppliers Driving licence and own car |
