| Job description | Awaiting Eyes Foundation is a registered charity and is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to undertake a Fundraising Internship with the charity.
The internship consists of both office work and outside fundraising work and interns will be required to participate in both these fields. The duties for each are as follows: (1) Office work - answering telephone, writing letters, data entry, emailing and general office duties. You will also be working on a specific project assigned to you. (2) Field Work - placing of collection boxes in shops and businesses, collecting money from the collection boxes on a regular basis, and general fundraising work. Experience is not necessary as full training will be provided to the right candidates. The internship will be for a 12 weeks period (3 days/week), and candidates able to commit for longer than this amount of time are encouraged. Please note that Internships are unpaid. Reference and a cerificate of achievement will be issued after successful completion of the internship period.
