Job description Fixed term, 2 year KTP appointment plus sponsored Masters or MBA.

The Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) is a not for profit educational charity whose purpose it is to advance education of the public and health professionals in all matters relating to nutrition.

With an obesity epidemic, and other health related issues on the Government agenda, an opportunity arises to deliver effective, evidence-based professional advice focused on nutrition and lifestyle initiatives, targeting schools, workplaces and society. This new opportunity will capitalise on ION’s reputation and credibility, to develop the structure, and manage a professional network of nutritional therapists who will deliver expert advice and services.

The KTP Associate will develop, implement and manage a more effective CRM software system. This will include carrying out strategic analysis of ION organisational structure to develop opportunities for nutritional consultancy services; evaluate new CRM Systems to manage the delivery of new nutritional advisory services; develop a Strategic Plan for creating and managing the new consultancy services operation; manage implementation of internal IT and organisation systems; finalise structure and manage implementation of the new systems for the delivery of consultancy services.

This is a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) appointment in which the candidate will work full-time at the company, but will be employed by London South Bank University.

How to apply You should have a degree, BSc(Hons) minimum 2.1 in Business, Management or Information Management disciplines with an interest or background in Nutrition or Science.

You will need to be a motivated self-starter with experience of business and management positions. You must have excellent interpersonal skills in order to interact effectively with in-house staff as well as clients and be enthusiastic and confident, with an ability to influence people and change habits and norms.

You should possess excellent organisation skills, as well as strong time management and planning skills, combined with a high degree of personal and professional integrity. You need to be pro-active, and able to work independently, as well as part of a team. First-class communication skills, both verbal and in writing are essential.
