| Job description | A leading e-commerce service provider for a prestigious client portfolio of online retailers is on the hunt for a polished and professional Project Manager to help their busy Projects Team to deliver their e-commerce projects on time, to budget, and to a high level of quality that meets their clients’ needs and expectations.
In this role you will work closely with an experienced Senior Project Manager, with whom you will be jointly responsible for the successful delivery of work for a defined range of client accounts. You will plan, execute and monitor each stage of your e-commerce projects. You and your Senior Project Manager will consult with clients over their requirements, and you will update your clients regularly on progress. To succeed in this role you will have already worked in a Project Management or Project Coordination position, and you may have also gained experience of Business Analysis. You may have gained your Prince 2 qualification, or equivalent, to at least Foundation level, or be interested in pursuing this qualification in the near future. Alternatively you may have fulfilled a more technical role previously, for example as a Developer. Either way you will be looking to rapidly gain further experience, knowledge and progression in a Project Management career. Superb communication and consultative skills, sharp commercial acumen, and confidence and professionalism are essential. You will also be naturally analytical, and have the ability to translate client requirements into workable business and technical solutions. A background in a web development company is desirable, as is an understanding of web technology, development methodologies and configuration management. Prior experience of the e-commerce industry would be of particular interest, although this is not essential. If you want to work and develop quickly in a friendly, fast-paced and forward-thinking environment with prestigious retailers on exciting and complex projects, please do get in touch. In return, you will receive competitive pay and a generous benefits package. If this opportunity appeals and you can offer the skills outlined above, please e-mail your CV, covering letter and salary expectations to careers@snowvalley.com. |
