| Job description | We are a funky city bar and looking to recruit a passionate Sous chef for a Monday to Friday position. You will need to be a confident individual with flair, creativity, passion & dedication to learning & developing your skills.
The site demands high standards and we are looking for someone who can maintain the quality our customers expect. If this is you, apply now. As a Sous Chef you will create your own modern and seasonal menus. You must be able to work and thrive in a small brigade and manage a very busy service. A background in quality and volume led kitchens is a must. Responsibilities will include: * Stock & portion control. * Kitchen team rota. * Stocktake * Creativity, flair, a keen eye for detail & passion for presentation. * Ability to write menus and weekly specials. * Supervision & monitoring of cleaning schedule. * Upkeep of essential paperwork. * Coaching & development of kitchen team This position would suit a Strong Sous chef or a New Head chef who is looking to develop their and utilise their existing skills.
