| Job description | Kitchen Manager/Head Chef – Royal Festival Hall – 30K
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest fresh food concepts in Central London. The role would suit a candidate who is able to take on full management of the kitchen operations, have a good understanding of profit and loss / health and safety and enjoys getting stuck in. It is important that you are experienced on all aspects of kitchen administration and management with experience in working within a fresh food environment. The ideal candidate will need experience in high volume, fast paced kitchen The site has an average weekly turnover of around 60k a week on food!!! As the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager you will be able to consistently produce top quality food at all times to company specifications. You will have strong communication, organizational and management skills with a proven track record of developing the team around you. This is a very hands on role and your delegation skills will play a vital role in the success of the kitchen. You will be able to lead a team of around 20 chefs and be responsible for their motivation and development. A positive attitude, the determination to succeed and a real passion for food is essential. Brasserie/A la Carte experience are preferred but not essential BUT working with fresh produce IS. This role offers huge career progression should you take on this role with gusto. Salary: 30k Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK. |
