| Job description | We are looking for an energetic, ambitious, well-presented and organized Design Assistant for the busy West London office of our Fast Track 100 nationwide furniture company.
General Description: Responsible for providing all necessary support to the Head of Design. Principal Tasks: Produce electronic design schemes using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator (Experienced preferred, however training will be provided). Researching/sourcing non stock furniture and fabrics. Maintain and update electronic image bank library. Maintain and update in house catalogue library. Filing new supplier information and requesting updated information when required. Maintain and update fabric library. Monitor & replenish design department stationary. Visit trade fairs and exhibitions, collating new supplier information and researching new trends. Producing mood board presentations. Purchase decorative accessories for bespoke installations. Attend site to either assist to carry out the interior styling, positioning decorative accessories, dressing beds etc. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, creative individual seeking a long term career within a fast growing organisation. Secondary Tasks: General office duties include answering the phone, filtering calls to relevant departments and assisting with customers in the showroom during the absence of a sales person.
