| Job description | Role: Highway Permit Clerks
Ref#: 10482 Rate: £15 to £18phr/Ltd Location: London Our client is looking for a number of administration professionals to work within their highways team. Successful applicants will be allocating permits to utility companies whilst imposing certain conditions (such as time restrictions) to comply with the new permit scheme being rolled out by many London local authorities. An understanding and appreciation for the impact of utility works on the highway is required to assess variations and extensions to permits including any associated costs. Experience of using a Highways database system would be very beneficial (Mayrise, Exor, Symology, WDM, Confirm), although not absolutely necessary. Good I.T. skills are essential. All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
