Are you a qualified teacher of English who's interested in teaching English to GCSE and A level students in a single sex (girls) comprehensive school located in Oxford on a permanent basis from September?

Due to a early retirement there's an opportunity for a dynamic and creative English teacher to join a large faculty to teach English at both GCSE and A level. The school performs well in terms of results and last year achieved a 75% pass rate at GCSE and had excellent SAT's scores.

You will be responsible for teaching English to both mixed ability and streamed classes so you must be able to plan effectively and produce lessons to cater for the individual needs.

The school has a reputation for staff development and you can be sure that if you work hard there will be opportunities to progress you career quickly
