| Job description | Our client is an established software development company who deal with real-time and business critical IT solutions. They are now looking for a Software Graduate to join the development team in their Gloucester office.
The work covers the whole life-cycle and involves the design, programming, testing, documentation and commissioning of IT projects. The programming work is varied ranging, for example, from programming in PLC and SCADA to working with databases and coding in high-level and web-based languages, and in a real-time business package (PI). If you have never come across PLC or SCADA packages, then full training will be provided to the right candidates who can display good fundamental technical/computer skills coupled with the willingness to learn. The role would suit a recent or up-coming graduate with a good (or expected) degree classification. Degrees in Computing, Computer Science, or other similar with significant programming elements are preferred. C, C++, C#, .NET, VB, Web languages, Java, ORACLE, MS SQL Server. Scada and Sun Solaris would be an advantage. The client is offering a starting salary of £18,000 with paid overtime and benefits.
