| Job description | We are currently looking for an Engineering Manager at a leading EPCM/design company in Perth, Western Australia. The company delivers mines, mineral processing plants and associated infrastructure across some of the world's resource regions including Australia and New Zealand. The focus is on mining support and infrastructure for surface minerals projects, including ports, heavy rail, haul roads, airfields, camp facilities, buildings, power and water supply services.
As an Engineering Manager - Mining and Industry, you will be responsible for making a significant impact on sales, profitability and management of work and people across the region and their business line. You will bring together business, commercial and technical skills, constantly balancing risk and opportunity in those areas to achieve value. Day-to-day responsibilities will include: •Responsible for Engineering Management on assigned projects within the Mining and Industry Business Line within Western Australia (project role). •Responsible for cost and schedule of all engineering deliverables on the project. •Management focus on projects with delegation of technical responsibilities to project discipline lead engineers.
