Hill International seeks to recruit: A Highway engineer (input 39 months) Project type: Roads & Highways Job responsibilities: - Review the asphalt concrete pavement design. - Advise the Chief Resident Engineer on material quality and construction specifications. - Oversee laboratory and field material tests for quality control and application of field equipment. - Maintain records and assist the EA with the day-to-day coordination and supervision of the project. - Coordinate and review updated designs and cost estimates prepared by the Contractor. - Coordinate and supervise the work of field teams in supervising and certifying construction in accordance with contract conditions. | How to apply | Qualifications & skills:
- Degree level qualification or equivalent in Civil Engineering. - A minimum of 12 years post graduate experience in highway design and supervision with a focus on asphalt concrete design and construction for roads. - International experience will be considered an advantage. - Excellent English language skills. - Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications. - Previous experience with a Construction Management Consultancy will be considered an advantage. |
