| Job description | This is a rare opportunity for a passionate, bright, career individual to launch the business Stateside of a hugely successful UK Online retailer.
The ideal candidate will be dynamic, fluid, agile, structured and a strong communicator. You will need to be able to work autonomously and have a sound knowledge of customer facing and marketing. Aware of budget measurement and campaign performance. You will have the ability to manage your own workload and direction. You will relish the opportunity to work in a fun, fast paced environment in a fantastic company. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Strategy o Work with the Marketing Director to develop a clear strategy for the marketing mix • Online Marketing o Implementation of affiliate’s strategy, managing SEO and paid for search activities and any online advertising campaigns. • Competition Analysis o Analyse, monitor and track our competition • Identify US target market • Surveys and customer research o Investigate and analyse • Investigate Marketing Channels • Conversion of visitors to customers o Monitor, analyse and propose improvements. Developing strategies to improve Conversion rate from registration to customer • Improve efficiency o Work with the Merchandising team to improve the website functions, navigation, categorisation, etc. • Customer Segmentation o Build profiles of different customers by demographic, spend or other activity. • Review current US Customer base o Full review to include demographics, order type, quantities, occasions etc. • Retention o Analyse, understand, propose strategies, test, measure and implement. • Control Group Analysis o Manage and understand the factors that affect the performance of specific customer groups. • Monitor chat rooms and forums, including Social Media. • Analyse automated system emails o Suggest improvements and keep an eye on sales generated. • Website Design o Working with the web design team tailor the site for the best possible user experience, hence, improving the frequency of the customer’s visit • Key contributor for email and website marketing strategy o Communication plan, planning, segmentation, analysis and reporting. • “Champion” the customer across all aspects of the website and communications in the US. • Main point of contact between marketing and customer services for continuation of brand tone and values. You must be aware of and help out with any customer issues. • Ability to be able to experiment with clearly measurable online marketing activities. |
