We are looking for a strong hospitality Manager and Events Manager to manage the customer facing aspects of the catering operation, including the C & B, restaurant and Events.

Duties: Hospitality Manager will involve: Delivery and improvement of catering service and presentation standards. Dealing with customer complaints / queries. Gaining customer feedback and acting on it. This position will require the candidate to work 3 nights and I day shift to do paperwork and 1 Mid shift to enable him / her to observe both shifts a week and most weekends due to the nature of the organisation requiring a Hospitality Manager.

We are looking for 2 years experience in management running a high volume sales catering operation, someone with a positive out going personality who wants to motivate the team.


Can you and do you want to?
Ensure current licensing laws are complied with at all times.
Ensure hygiene standards meet current legislation and company
requirements.
Checking all display standards are maintained
Maintain the security of the company's cash and stock at all times.
Take group bookings and meet with customers, build database of catering
customers.
Build relationships with local businesses and competitor catering
establishments
Adherence to licensing laws and restrictions.
Liaison with regional catering manager on any issues or advice required in order to carry out the above duties.

Support in this role
Working with the General Manager to ensure that all catering staff fully trained in the service standards and technical requirements of their job.

Regular staff meetings / briefings held.
Rotas prepared well in advance.
Conducting interviews with the Training Officer.
Inform administrator of any staff transfers / leavers / starters.
Carry out staff appraisals to the appropriate company standard
Conducting the first stage of the disciplinary process.
Staff reasons for leaving examined and issues arising actioned
Understanding of an EPOS system and ability to analyse and compile sales
reports from the system.
Strong man management skills with an understanding of Employment law,
Skills Service Standards and Staff Appraisals.
Strong motivational skills.
A keen business mind to move the catering offer forwards.
Full understanding of Health & Hygiene Regulations.
An understanding of Health & Safety Regulations.
A keen observational eye for detail.
Be able to discuss the need for a food safety policy and demonstrate an
understanding of control measures.
Exceptional organisation skills.
Ability to compile weekly rosters to meet the needs of the business.
Understanding of stock control, ordering, storage, accountability.
Ability to undertake monthly beverage stock takes.( after training)
Ability to oversee monthly food stock takes.( after training)
Ability to produce monthly catering reports for both food and
beverage.(after training)
Strong front of house customer service skills.
Strength of character.
Ability to perform under pressure.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication skills.
