| Job description | My client is a well established investment firm managing c. £6bn for institutional investors, private banks & individual investors. With 70 employees they operate from prestigious offices in central London.
The Company Accountant is seeking a highly competent part-time accounts payable person for 2 days per week. Other duties will include bank reconciliation & ad hoc duties to support the Accountant. Signatories are extremely busy & rely heavily on good support backed by high quality information, so you must have excellent attention to detail & accuracy as well as being a confident, competent communicator. All employees work very hard. The company uses a Hansa system, so knowledge of Hansa would be an advantage but not essential. This is a permanent part-time role and the candidate must be prepared to commit to a long term part-time role with the business. There may be scope to increase the hours but this is not guaranteed, so some time flexibility would be an advantage. The company would be pleased to engage someone with children at school if they meet the criteria in which case hours can be flexible as long as the work is done & objectives are achieved. Remuneration will be £13.50 per hour plus private health, pension contribution, & other benefits.
