| Job description | Job Summary:
Royal London College is seeking enthusiastic, motivated Administrators to work closely with academic and other administrative staff in supporting the activities in the college. You will have daily contact with a diverse range of students, staff and members of the public and will be responsible for dealing with and resolving a wide range of queries. You will create and maintain student correspondence records as well as provide administrative support to committees. Roles/Responsibilities: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Assistant Administrator (Operations) will support a range of activities to support the smooth running of the college. The role will involve: Dealing with enquiries from staff and students Liaising with internal and external staff to follow up on fault reporting and to facilitate access to the College for essential repairs and maintenance Ensuring paper and electronic finance (student and College) files are up to date and accessible Regular stock checks and compiling of the College stationery order Arranging meetings involving internal and external staff and ensuring that rooms are set up as requested with appropriate seating, facilities and refreshments Managing the disposal of college waste: recycling, disposal of confidential waste Provide administration support to the Operations Manager and Finance Administrator Any other duties as required by the Operations Manager or College Director. Candidate profile Essential: Qualifications Level 4 / 2 A Levels (with GCSEs A-C in English and Mathematics) or considerable relevant experience Ability to work in a post where numeracy, attention to detail and data analysis are core functions of the role Experience of working in a busy office environment Ability to work to deadline and multi-task Strong communication skills, including a pleasant personal and telephone manner Excellent IT skills including MS Excel and Word Respect of confidentiality Willingness to work flexibly and a strong and proven commitment to teamwork ethos Experience of working with international students To apply: If you have the requisite experience and would like to apply, please email your CV with a covering letter at career@rlcuk.org or 2 Abbey Road, Barking IG11 7AX, UK. |
