Mix of Pre-Sales and Consulting Role – Based London, UK.

Looking to add to the London, UK based team a Solutions Consultant, The role is to communicate Blackbaud’s unique value proposition to technical and non-technical clients, including executive "C" level management, VP/Director levels, and end users. Provide pre-sales support to account executives from qualified lead through to the close of a sale. Provide detailed product/solution knowledge so that the solution presented matches the client’s requirements and is something that can be delivered on. Support sales with the creation of key deliverables such as demonstrations, presentations, proposals and statements of work. Responsible for the smooth transition of projects from pre-sales to the implementation team, ensuring that customer requirements are documented and transitioned into the delivery phase. Work closely with product managers to understand the product road map and to feed back into the product road map. Creating material for and presenting webinars, user groups and conferences. Provide product training to the sales team. Percentage of Travel 30/ 50%.

How to apply Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
• Experience - 2-3 years experience in software or IT industry required
• Degree Educate
• 1-3 years experience providing pre-sales support for software applications, preferably CRM or ERP
• Experience working with third sector or not-for-profit organisations greatly preferred
• Experience providing advice and/or consultation to modify and improve business processes
• Motivated and dynamic with good presentation and positioning skills
• Strong relationship building skills at all levels - both internally & externally
• Comfortable configuring/customising and demonstrating complex software solutions
• Business analysis, requirements gathering and gap-fit analysis skills
• Ability to accurately manage customer expectations
• The ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
