r stride into working in the stable and dynamic public sector as a Revenues and Benefits Adminstrator to work as Customer Services Visiting Officer. The course to achieve this is (Housing Benefit Council Tax Benefit Administration) which is delivered by experienced Consultants giving you the practical day to day feel of what happens in this working environment as a Customer Services VisitingOfficer. Housing Council Tax Benefit helps pay rent for people who are Unemployed and Low income earners. You are going to be able to administer this task at the end of the course. You will be taught how to Administer Hb Claims when a claim is made gathering all revelant information for the claim to be assessed. You will be taught the Customer Service Visitng Officer techniques of gathering all information required from Customers either from Front Line duties (Customer Services Officer Visiting (Visiting Officer) or by writing for specific information to the Customer. You will also be able to work in the following roles within Local Authorities Housing Associations Neighbourhood Housing offices as Direct Lettings Officer Pre-assessment Officer Liaison offcer Investigations Assistant Procurement Officer. Learning Outcomes At the end of this course students will be able to- Demonstrate understanding of the structure of the social welfare system Analyse the welfare administration framework Calculate the housing benefit and council tax benefit entitlement for various clients Provide advice and counselling on council tax and housing benefit related issues Demonstrate understanding of the welfare appeals system Target Audience and Students Profile You will be taught the skills and inside information that other candidates do not have so you can still win the best jobs even if other candidates have more experience than you do.
