urrently seeking an assistant to work alongside 2 registered childminders and another assistant in our small home-from-home nursery setting. We care for 12 children under 5 daily in 2 neighbouring properties and require someone who is reliable and honest upbeat energetic and able to show initiative and who has a genuine passion for working with the under 5s and who must be willing to commit for a minimum of 1 year as we believe continuity of care is vital. We take daily outings to the park and river and take part in a weekly in-house music class. We have lots of fun in a friendly easy-going homely setting. Ideally the right candidate must have a minimum 1 years experience with babies and toddlers and hold a minimum Nvq 3 (or equivalent) qualification in childcare. Knowledge of the Eyfs would be a huge advantage but not essential as training can be given. Ideally we would like someone who lives local to Kingston or who has an easy commute to enable you to arrive promptly for work at 8am. We require 2 checkable childcare references from previous employers as well as an up-to-date enhanced Crb. Hours 29 hours per week Tues Weds 8am-6pm Thurs 8.30am-5.30pm Holidays 4 weeks paid per year plus Bank Holidays Pay £6.50 per hour Start date end March early April Please send a cv and covering letter via email asap Please Note this is not a live in position au-pair or nanny post  Date posted: 11.
