retail brand are looking for an experience stock controller to join their dynamic and experience team in Battersea. The successful candidate should already have stock and product controlling experience within a retail environment. Duties Responsibilities Incoming Stock Check the accuracy of the delivery ensuring the administration relating to the consignment equals the physical delivery. File paperwork and report all delivery discrepancies within 24hours of delivery to the UK Operations Manager and the sender. Ensure all items received have bar codes and security tags before storing them on the shelves in the stock room. Responsible for organisation and cleanliness of stock room with the assistance of the Area Manager Concession Manager. Outgoing Stock Process all inter branch transfers local and international. Send all faulty stock customer returns and shop soiled items to the warehouse subject to the Store Manager Concession Managers approval. Outgoing stock must be bar coded de-tagged (if applicable) and despatched with correct paperwork at all times. All returned stock to be packed by product category neatly into their boxes. Responsible for the end of season returns to the warehouse. Stock Report Reconciliation Liase with Area Managers Concession Managers on a daily basis to ensure that stock negatives are resolved. Stock Control Administration Have a comprehensive understanding of the S.A.P system. Ensure that S.A.P is updated with all stock movements. Co-ordinate repairs and retain accurate records. To manage the postal service for mail order within the store ensuring staff are aware of postal services available to customers and that all branch post is despatched on a daily basis. Stock Audit Responsible for the co-ordination and preparation for all stock takes. Carry out Cyclic Counts with maximum accuracy resolving all discrepancies and queries on a weekly basis. These may be requested by Head Office or required during stockfile investigations. Carry out full financial stock takes when required and carry out any necessary investigations. Additional Responsible for sales preparation and co-ordination the present frequency being twice a year. Although comprehensive the Job Description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be added according to the needs of the business as requested by a Manager.
